Fall Home Tour 2017

In the spirit of being honest, decorating for Halloween this year was not in my plans. I had planned on snagging a few pumpkins from the patch and keeping things pretty simple. My festive little 5 year old had a very different agenda and the minute Target rolled out their Halloween decor, he was insistent that I get this place looking like a haunted house. I've never been one to turn down a festive child, so I bought all the things at Target and pulled out some halloween boxes in the garage. Shit got spooky v. fast. ;) 

I love keeping the house cozy during this time of year, but we've had unseasonably warm and sunny weather, so I'm still dragging my feet on going all in. We've been diffusing lots of fall oils (clove + cinnamon, all day please!), making caramel apples to deliver to friends & teachers, and of course making lots of pumpkin patch trips.
