Life Lately

Life Lately

Life around here is moving right along, but we're all at a bit of a holding pattern until this baby makes it's way ( very soon! ) ... Collin isn't traveling for work - which is amazing - and I'm hesitant to put to much on the calendar in hopes that I can keep up on the necessities until baby comes (keep the fridge stocked, the house picked up & the kids healthy!)

We took the plunge and finally ordered bunk-beds for Baylor. The girls still share a room, but this gives us another option to put Bellamy in with Baylor if Winnie needs a quiet space or is waking Bella up in the middle of the night. They came on Saturday and by Sunday at noon, they were put together & ready for naps! Not going to lie, putting bunkbeds together at this stage of my pregnancy was a challenge that I don't really want to experience again, but it's done. So that's a win. And Baylor & Bella stayed up until 10:00 last night chatting about all. the. things. At one point, Baylor said "I think it's time we sleep now, go dream about donuts". He's wise beyond his years...

I took Baylor on a little date on Friday night - Collin had taken Bella on one Thursday night and Baylor was determined to have fair treatment. Collin made some pretty cute highlight videos of the festivities - the kids are pretty much convinced they're movie stars.

On Saturday night, Collin & I dropped this kids off at Nana & Grandpa's and spent the afternoon eating a leisurely lunch and browsing the mall for too many hours. I was fully ready for my water to break in Zara (so much so that I didn't even bother standing in line), but I made it out alive and still v. pregnant. :)

We've been doing lots of swimming in the pool, lots of shopping (Dear Nordstrom, I love you but I hate you), and of course lots of nesting

Keep those Monday blues at bay and go get yourself a donut. ;)
